  1. Cream butter and sugar together well.
  2. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. Stir flour, soda and salt together and add.
  4. Mix well Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake in 350 degree oven for 6-8 minutes.
  6. Makes about 4 dozen.
