Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add lemon zest, eggs and extract.
  4. Stir in flour and baking powder.
  5. Add nuts and coconut.
  6. Shape into 1 1/2" balls.
  7. Roll in powdered sugar and place on greased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 18 minutes until the edges are set.
  9. Cool a minute or two on cookie sheets, and remove to wire rack, and sprinkle powdered sugar over the tops as cookies continue to cool.
