Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Heat oil in large skillet.
  3. Saute onion in oil for 1 minute, or until tender.
  4. Remove onion and set aside.
  5. Brown pork chops in remaining oil, two minutes on each side.
  6. Place chops in 8x12 inch baking dish; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Layer apples and cooked onion over chops.
  8. In small bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard, cloves and water.
  9. Pour over chops.
  10. Cover and bake 30-45 minutes.
