Instructions
- Stir 1/3 cup hot water into 1/4 cup sugar. Heat until dissolved.
- Strain petals.
- Cool quickly with 1/2 cup ice cubes.
- When dissolved sprinkle over each cake layer before spreading on the filling.
OPTIONAL: for you can use 3-4 tablespoons orange liqueur, cognac, coffee liqueur, Amaretto or Frangelica or 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. You can add cinnamon sticks, cloves, ginger to the water if you want additional flavoring! _x000D_ This is great in ice and hot drinks!_x000D_ This can be placed in pretty jars and wrapped for gifts as well.
