Instructions

  1. Rinse and clean beans good.
  2. Put into a large soup pot.
  3. Add water.
  4. Slice onion and sausage into beans.
  5. Add cajun seasoning and garlic powder.
  6. Bring to a boil and let boil 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2-3 hours, until beans are tender.
  8. Salt to taste.
  9. Serve over hot cooked rice.
