Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Add warm milk, melted shortening, salt, 1 1/2 cup flour, sugar and egg.
  3. Beat very hard, then add the remaining 1 1/2 cup flour.
  4. Let rise 15 minutes.
  5. Knead and form into rolls.
  6. Let rise, then bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
