Instructions

  1. Brown bacon. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon of fat.
  2. Add onions & peppers + mushrooms, if using. Cook, stirring often, till onion & peppers are tender; ~ 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in sauce & parsley. Simmer.
  4. Meanwhile, cook pasta al dente.
  5. Drain pasta & add to sauce. Spoon in pasta water to thin.
  6. Stir in half & half.
  7. Serve.
