Instructions

  1. mix cake as directed (decreasing the water& oil to above measure).
  2. stir in 1 can cherry pie filling.
  3. pour into greased& floured cake pan (batter will be a little thick).
  4. spread evenly.
  5. bake 350 deg (as directed) about 45-50min (til knife comes out clean when inserted into center).
  6. cool completely.
  7. in bowl, mix frosting& cream cheese til blended.
  8. spread onto cooled cake.
  9. top with maraschino cherries (as many as u like).
