Instructions

  1. Put 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons bacon grease in the bottom of a medium fry pan, over medium heat.
  2. Once grease has melted, add mushrooms and onion.
  3. Cook over medium heat until onion is translucent, and mushrooms have given up most of their liquid, stirring approximately every 5 minutes.
  4. About 20 minutes prior to eating, add the pepper(s) (If you're going to add the wine, add it at this point) and continue to cook stiring every 4 to 5 minutes.
