Instructions

  1. Peanut butter layer:
  2. Heat peanut butter in micro just to soften.
  3. Stir in powdered sugar till smooth. Pour and spread into prepared pie shell.
  4. Stir together sugar, cornstarch and salt in 2 quart pyrex measuring cup.
  5. Combine egg yolks and milk add to dry ingredients.
  6. Cook in micro, whisking occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
  7. Microwave for 1 minute more.
  8. Remove from micro, whisk pie mixture smooth.
  9. Whisk in butter and vanilla.
  10. Add 1 cup chocolate chips, stir until chips are melted and mixture is well blended.
  11. Pour over peanut layer.
  12. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
  13. Garnish with your choice and do enjoy! :).
