Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add beaten egg and salt.
  3. Add sifted flour and milk alternately, mix to a soft dough, add sultanas.
  4. Turn on to lightly-floured surface, knead slightly.
  5. Roll out to 2 cm thickness, cut with round scone cutter.
  6. Put scones on greased oven tray, bake in hot oven (230 C) 7 to 10 minutes.
