Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Add the eggs, one at at time. Beat in vanilla.
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans.
  3. Spread into a greased 11-inch by 7-inch by 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  4. Cool on a wire rack.
