Instructions

  1. Slice the carrots.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  3. Cover and cook on medium low heat for about 30 minutes, until the carrots are tender.
  4. Stir once in a while.
  5. For the microwave:.
  6. Use only 1 tablespoon water.
  7. Put everything but the salt in a microwave safe bowl.
  8. Cover lightly and microwave on high 6-7 minutes, until carrots are almost tender.
  9. Make sure to stop the microwave and stir it a few times!
  10. Stir in salt when carrots are done.
