  1. Brown ground chuck and onion in a large skillet.
  2. Add the jar of spahetti sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Butter a large casserole dish and place half the mac& cheese mixture on the bottom.
  4. Top with meat sauce and 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
  5. Add the rest of the mac& cheese, the remaining meat sauce and finish with a cup of cheese.
  6. Cover and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
