Instructions

  1. In a Dutch Oven, over med. high heat saute salt pork or bacon until crisp.
  2. Then start your layers.
  3. Potatoes.
  4. Onions.
  5. 1 Tbs. Flour.(sprinkle over potatoes/onions).
  6. Salt/pepper to taste.
  7. Repeat layers.
  8. Then add just enough water to come to half-way (Do Not cover potatoes).
  9. Cover and cook on medium heat until potatoes are done.It will make its own creamy like gravy.
  10. Good with meatloaf, etc.
