  1. Cream together margarine and both sugars until smooth.
  2. Add vanilla; mix well.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  4. Mix flour, baking soda and salt together; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in Smarties.
  6. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 9-11 minutes until golden brown.
