Instructions

  1. Heat butter,sugar and milk in saucepan till melted.
  2. Stir to combine and remove from heat.
  3. Sift flour,cocoa and soda together into saucepan.
  4. Stir in almond meal, eggs and essence.
  5. Pour into greased and lined 20 cm round cake tin.
  6. Bake at 180 degrees celsius for 40 - 50 minutes.
  7. Cool in tin and the turn onto rack.
  8. Ice with your favourite frosting or ganache.
