Instructions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl; toss well to coat.
  2. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
  3. Strain mixture through a sieve into a jar, reserving liquid.
  4. Set strawberries aside.
  5. Add oil and water to jar.
  6. Cover tightly, and shake vigorously.
  7. Arrange 1 cup greens on each of 4 salad plates.
  8. Top with 1/2 cup berries, 2 teaspoons dressing, and 1 tablespoon cheese.
  9. Serve with French bread.
