Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, to chill dough before rolling.
  6. Roll dough thickly. (about 1/4"). If you roll them too thin, they are hard to work with.
  7. Cut shapes, and put on an ungreased baking sheet.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes.
  9. Cool on rack.
  10. Frost with your favorite frosting, icing, or glaze.
