Instructions

  1. Prepare a bouquet garni and set aside.
  2. Heat butter, add onions and celery; cover and cook 4 minutes.
  3. Add carrots and season with salt and pepper; Cook 5 minutes uncovered.
  4. Add potatoes and chicken stock; drop in bouquet garni.
  5. Bring to a boil and cook 12 minutes at medium low.
  6. Add remaining ingredients and return to a boil.
  7. Cook 12 minutes at medium-low.
