Instructions

  1. Place rice, orzo (or other pasta) and margarine in a 2 quart heavy glass bowl. Microwave on high 3 1/2 - 4 minutes stirring after every minute (more often toward the end if you use pasta other than orzo) or until pasta is golden brown.
  2. Stir in broth (or bouillon) and spices.
  3. Microwave 12 minutes on high.
  4. Let sit 3 minutes in microwave.
  5. Fluff with fork and serve.
