Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and cocoa.
  4. Stir in the eggs, one at a time, and vanilla till just combined.
  5. Add flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Fold in the nuts.
  7. Pour into a greased 8x8x2-inch baking pan.
  8. Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Do not over bake.
  9. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
