Ingredients

1/3 cup ketchup

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar (I use apple cider vinegar)

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

2 teaspoons dark brown sugar, packed

3/4 teaspoon dry mustard

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 dash black pepper (to taste)

1 dash ground red pepper (add more for a hotter or spicier sauce)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan combine all ingredients and, over high heat, bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and let simmer, stirring frequently, until flavors are well blended, 5 to 10 minutes.
