Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, baking powder,brown sugar, allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in eggs, vegetable oil and milk, then gentley stir in fruit.
  3. Grease 16 muffin cups, and heap batter into cups; they'll be very full.
  4. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
