Ingredients
-
6 ounces ramen noodles, any flavor
-
1/2 cup milk
-
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
-
1 cup barbecue sauce, use your favorite- we like Sweet Baby Ray's
-
1 cup cooked chicken, chopped
-
1/2 red onion, sliced thinly (works great with any onion but a sweet onion is best)
-
11 ounces mandarin oranges, drained well
-
2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated
-
-
mushroom
-
canned jalapeno slices
-
bell pepper
-
1 egg, beaten
-
black olives
Instructions
- Remove ramen noodles from packages and cook in boiling water just until al dente. Discard flavor packets or save for another use.
- Meanwhile, beat egg and whisk together with milk and parmesan cheese.
- Drain noodles VERY well and mix into egg mixture. Line a sheet pan or pizza pan with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. (If using a pizza stone there is no need to do that step)
- Spread noodle mixture onto pan making sure to spread it out evenly. Form the crust so the edges are thicker than the middle. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
- Remove pan from oven and spread barbecue sauce over noodles. Scatter chicken, onions, and oranges over top. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over all.
- Bake again at 350° for another 10-15 minutes or until brown and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
