Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until crisp, crumble and set aside.
  2. Place drained beans with water in a medium size saucepan with lid.
  3. Add bacon drippings, onion, sugar and salt.
  4. Simmer on low heat for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Pour beans in a serving bowl and sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
  6. Enjoy!
