Instructions

  1. Brown roast on all sides in a Dutch oven.
  2. Add onion and cook until transparent.
  3. Add coffee, 3/4 cup water, bouillon, basil, rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and simmer for 2-1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
  5. Combine flour and remaining water in a bowl stir as you add some of the liquid from the pan.
  6. Now pour this mixture into pan; cook and stir until thick.
  7. Slice and serve.
