Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease pie plate, 9x1 1/4 inches, or round pan.
  3. Mix granulated sugar, butter, flour, cocoa, vanilla, salt and eggs in medium bowl.
  4. Stir in nuts.
  5. Pour into pan.
  6. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edge appears dry and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean (center will be moist).
  7. Immediately prick holes in pie with toothpick.
  8. Spread 1/4 cup fudge sauce over top.
  9. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  10. Beat whipping cream and powdered sugar in chilled medium bowl with mixer on high speed until stiff.
  11. Spread over pie.
  12. Drizzle with 2 to 3 tablespoons fudge sauce.
  13. Garnish with additional nuts.
  14. Store covered in refrigerator.
