Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Peel, core,and thinly slice apples. Arrange in a buttered 9-inch round baking dish. In medium bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, butter and oats. Sprinkle over apples.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes until topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
  3. Serve warm. Top with vanilla ice cream and caramel. (if desired).
