  1. Add together the first three ingredients in a saucepan.
  2. Over medium heat, bring to a simmer.
  3. Add tequila and triple sec and stir occasionally until hot.
  4. Pour mixture into 8 mugs.
  5. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
