1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup honey

1 tablespoon canola oil

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/8 teaspoon ground allspice (or ground cloves)

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 egg

2 tablespoons sliced almonds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Coat a 9" x 5" loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the almonds and beat until well blended.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle with the almonds.
- Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes then remove from pan to wire rack to cool completely.
