Instructions

  1. Mix together the dry ingredients, then add the milk.
  2. This should make a fairly thick batter.
  3. Add the onions and mix thoroughly.
  4. Drop the batter by spoonsful into hot oil about an inch deep.
  5. When golden on one side (about 3-4 minutes), turn them and flatten them into patties.
  6. Fry until golden on the second side (about 3-4 minutes).
  7. Drain on paper towels.
