- Preheat oven to 375ºF/190°C.
- Grease bottom and sides 10 inch square pan with butter or margarine.
- Distribute apples in the mold.
- In bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
- With your hands form crumbles. Sprinkle the crumbles over apples.
- Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender.
- Serve warm with ice cream or custard.
- Note: You can reduce the amount of butter to ¼ of cup and add 2 tablespoons of light cream cheese.
