Instructions

  1. Drain pineapple, reserve liquid.
  2. Spread pineapple in a lightly greased 13x9 inch pan.
  3. Add pie filling, spreading gently.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix over pie filling.
  5. Sprinkle with pecans.
  6. Combine butter and reserved pineapple liquid.
  7. Drizzle on cake mixture.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes.
  9. Cool and cut into squares, top with whipped topping and chocolate shavings.
