Instructions

  1. Heat oil in 6 qt.
  2. pot over medium heat.
  3. Add beef, saute until browned.
  4. Add coleslaw mix and onion.
  5. Cook covered 4 minutes, stirring after 2.
  6. Add tomatoes, beef broth, water, brown sugar.
  7. lemon juice and salt.
  8. Bring to boil.
  9. Add rice, reduce heat to medium-low.
  10. Simmer, covered, 45 minutes or until beef and rice are tender.
