Instructions

  1. Peel onions and hollow out hole in center for the stuffing.
  2. Do not make hole completely through the onion.
  3. Leave about a 1/2 inch shell at the base of the onion.
  4. Mix together ham, broccoli, bread crumbs and bell pepper.
  5. Stuff into onion and top with a chunk of butter.
  6. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper.
  7. Place onions in crock pot.
  8. Pour 1/2 cup of water around onions, but not over them.
  9. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
