Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil and cook pasta for 8-10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt butter and saute garlic for 2 minutes.
  4. Whisk in flour, salt and pepper.
  5. Cook until smooth.
  6. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly.
  7. Bring to a boil for 1 minute and then add mustard and Colby cheese.
  8. Continue to heat until cheese is melted, stirring all the while.
  9. Remove from heat, add ham, peas and pasta.
  10. Mix.
  11. Pour into a 2 quart baking dish.
  12. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs.
  13. Bake for 20-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
