Instructions

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Prepare 12 paper-lined muffin cups.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  4. Add in eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Sift the dry ingredients.
  6. Add to creamed mixture alternately with the applesauce.
  7. Divide the mixture evenly into prepared muffin cups (fill two-thirds full).
  8. Bake for 25 minutes, or until cupcakes test done.
  9. Cook 10 minutes before removing to wire rack.
