Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, butter, eggs, baking soda and vanilla in a small bowl.
  3. Beat at slow speed, for 2 to 3 minutes, scraping bowl often.
  4. Stir in cherries and figs.
  5. Spread into greased and floured 9" pan.
  6. Sprinkle remaining sugar over top.
  7. Bake at 325 for 22- 30 minutes.
  8. Cool completely, cut into bars.
