1 vidalia onion, diced

4 shallots, sliced

1 (46 ounce) can tomato juice

1 (14 ounce) can hunts diced garlic balsamic & olive oil diced tomatoes

4 cups water

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

3 cups chopped ham

1 tablespoon chili paste

1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Instructions
- cook cabbage,onions,shallots in olive oil, till limp.
- add juice,tomatoes,water,sugar,lemonî juice,salt and pepper.
- add chili sauce.
- simmer 1 hour.
- add ham in last 15 minutes of cooking.
