Instructions

  1. Combine the gelatin and cake mix, mixing together well.
  2. Add oil, eggs, water, and lemon extract; mixing together.
  3. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake according to cake mix package directions.
  5. (You may choose to use a pan size other than 9x13).
  6. For the frosting:
  7. Mix together the lemon juice and powdered sugar.
  8. After the cake has baked, but is still warm, ice with the frosting.
