Instructions

  1. Saute oil, garlic, ginger, turmeric, salt and rice for about two minutes.
  2. Stir to prevent sticking.
  3. Add water and bring to a boil.
  4. Once the water boils simmer for 45 minutes until all the water is absorbed.
  5. Stir in pineapple, cilantro and slivered almonds.
