Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream shortening and sugars, and add eggs.
  3. Beat until fluffy.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa and salt, and add mixture to shortening mixture.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add vanilla and nuts.
  7. Pour into a large, greased cake or jelly roll pan.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes.
